When we read about the last day in the Bible, we have the tendency, again, of automatically looking to a final day of the existence of the world. However, if we take some time to analyze how the Bible defines the phrase last day, we'll find that the primary meaning is focusing on our day when God is judging the corporate body in this time of tribulation. The common words last day we'll look at here are the following: Last <2078> is the Greek word eschatos and Day <2250> is the Greek hemera; which, by the way, is the same word used in talking about the Day of the Lord.
- Ac 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the
last days <2078> <2250>, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
- 2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days <2078> <2250>
perilous times shall come.

worlds;
- Jas 5:3 Your
gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days <2078> <2250>.
- 2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days <2078> <2250> scoffers, walking after their own lusts.
- Joh 6:39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should
raise it up again at the last day <2078> <2250>.
- Joh 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day <2078> <2250>.

rise again in the resurrection at the last day <2078> <2250>..
