Hold on the following verse: Joe 2:8 Neither shall one thrust (vex) another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
Target Pr 30:27 The locusts^0697 have no king, yet go they forth^03318 (to go out, come out, exit, go forth) all of them <by?> bands^02686; (group, army?) Ps 31:4 Pull me out^03318 of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength. Ps 107:14 He brought them out^03318 of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder. Ps 107:28 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out^03318 of their distresses. Isa 48:20 Go ye forth^03318 of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob. Jer 51:45 My people, go ye out^03318 of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD. Eze 20:34 And I will bring you out^03318 from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. Jer 9:3 And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed^03318 from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD. Jer 37:7 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to enquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh’s army, which is come forth^03318 to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land. Da 8:9 And out of one of them came forth^03318 a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. Jdg 5:10 Speak, ye that ride on white asses, ye that sit in judgment, and walk by the way. Jdg 5:11 They that are delivered from the noise of archers^02686 in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, even the righteous acts toward the inhabitants of his villages in Israel: then shall the people of the LORD go down to the gates. Job 21:21 For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst^02686? (go forth from the midst?) 2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way (midst).
The Corporate Body is Unclean prior to Salvation Jud 17:6 In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes. Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. Isa 64:7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities. De 31:17 Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us? De 31:18 And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods. Ps 30:7 LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled. Ps 143:7 Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit. Eze 39:29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD. Job 14:4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one. Isa 52:11 Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD. Ro 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? (thus the need for the resurrection of the Body – New Jerusalem) Ro 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. (Elect in a fleshly Body) Ro 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. Nu 16:26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins. Hab 1:14 And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things^07431, that have no ruler^04910 over them? Ho 2:18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things^07431 of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely. Ge 6:20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing^07431 of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive. Zec 6:13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule^04910 upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. Pr 6:6-7 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:… Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler^04910, Ps 109:21 But do thou for me, O GOD the Lord, for thy name’s sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me. Ps 109:22 For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me. Ps 109:23 I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust^0697.
The Locusts were to be eaten Le 11:22 Even these of them ye may eat; the locust^0697 after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind. Mt 3:4 And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
Rise Kill and Eat (an introduction): De 12:15 Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart. De 12:21 If the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the LORD hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after. Ac 10:11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: Ac 10:12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. Ac 10:13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. Ac 10:14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. Ac 10:15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. Ac 10:19 While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. Ac 10:20 Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them. Ac 10:21 Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come? Ac 10:22 And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.
Conclusion: As we continue to study the nature of the Locusts of Proverbs 30:27, we begin the see, by God’s Grace, how those in the corporate body are typified by locusts and creeping things. At the start of the tribulation when the body went back into Egypt, the believers were unclean being a part of that body; when there was no king (God) in Israel. It is these unclean locusts that are now finding rest (salvation) as they go forth out of tribulation. Thus we can see how the overall setting of the four that are exceeding wise is in the context of the creeping things finding Salvation. I do not see the timing as post tribulation because even though Christ is no longer a King to Jerusalem below, the unsaved locusts today have a king (Satan) ruling over them (Rev 9:11).
