Ru 2:14 And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left. Mt 27:34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall (bitterness, wormwood): and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink. Joh 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. Ru 2:15 And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not: Ps 70:2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt. Eze 43:10 Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern. Lu 1:24 And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months , saying, Lu 1:25 Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men. Ru 2:16 And let fall (let her take) also some of the handfuls (bundles of grain) of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not. Ps 9:5 Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever. Mal 2:3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it. Ru 2:17 So she gleaned in the field until even, and beat out (threshed) that she had gleaned: and it was about an ephah (measure) of barley. Ru 2:18 And she took it up, and went into the city: and her mother in law saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth, and gave to her that she had reserved after she was sufficed. Pr 13:25 The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want. Le 25:19 And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety. Ru 2:19 And her mother in law said unto her, Where hast thou gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought, and said, The man’s name with whom I wrought to day is Boaz. Ru 2:20 And Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed be he of the LORD, who hath not left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man is near of kin unto us, one of our next kinsmen (relative of Elimelech). Ru 2:21 And Ruth the Moabitess said, He said unto me also, Thou shalt keep fast by my young men, until they have ended all my harvest. Ex 23:16 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. Mt 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. Ru 2:22 And Naomi said unto Ruth her daughter in law, It is good, my daughter, that thou go out with his maidens, that they meet thee not in any other field. Ru 2:23 So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and dwelt with her mother in law.
