Can a woman be a pastor or teach?
She can teach children in a Bible study or her family, but she should not teach or have authority where men are present and this would include in her own family. If an adult male son is asking questions about the Bible she can faithfully share to the degree the LORD will allow, but the attitude should not be one of taking a leadership role.

  • Let you women keep silence in the churches; for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 1 Corinthians 14:34
  • But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 1 Timothy 2:12

Of course today we're learning that the above verses take on new spiritual meaning dealing with today's churches coming under God's judgment (silenced) and not permitted to speak (bring the true Gospel). We will continue to look further into this, but this should not abolish the moral aspect of the law.

...Come out of her

my people... (Rev 18:4)
